The Nereidi | The Coastal Suite website uses cookies to ensure proper functioning and — only with your explicit consent — to understand how to improve the browsing experience. No advertising, no commercial third parties, no profiling.

1. Technical cookies (necessary)

These are strictly necessary for the basic functioning of the site (selected language, cookie consent preference, browsing session) and for anonymous statistical measurement in self-hosted mode. They do not require prior consent (pursuant to the 2021 FAQs of the Italian Data Protection Authority), do not personally identify the user and are automatically active.

  • nereidi_cookie_consent — stores your choice on the banner (duration: persistent, until manual deletion from the browser).

Anonymous statistical measurement (self-hosted)

Statistical analysis tool installed on our European server (stats.nereidi.app). Navigation data (pages visited, duration, device, country) remains on our servers in the European Union, is not shared with third parties, and IP addresses are anonymised. Identifying cookies are disabled, therefore this tool is treated as a technical cookie under Italian law.

2. Measurement cookies (with consent)

These are installed only if you accept from the banner. They serve to understand how users use the site (heatmaps, click maps, anonymised session recordings) to identify usability issues.

Anonymous behavioural analysis service

Service provided by Microsoft Corporation that anonymously records interactions with the site (heatmaps, click maps, anonymised session recordings) to identify usability issues. Data may be transferred to Microsoft servers in the United States, with contractual safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) under the GDPR. For details and direct opt-out: privacy.microsoft.com.

  • _clck, _clsk, CLID — Clarity identifiers. Duration: 1 year (clck/CLID), 24 hours (clsk).

3. How to manage or withdraw consent

You can change your choice at any time:

  • By deleting the site's cookies from your browser settings. On your next visit, the banner will reappear and you can make a new choice.
  • By deleting the entry nereidi_cookie_consent from Local Storage (DevTools → Application → Local Storage).
  • By disabling cookies in your browser settings (official guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
